Houston made his ACW debut along side his tag team partner Armstrong in 1997. Houston and Armstrong called their team the Spacemen, and were voted the best tag team in ACW history. Houston just like his tag partner Armstrong has been one of the most successful wrestlers in the ACW both in singles and tag competition.

Upon arriving in the ACW the Spacemen would immediately set their sights on the ACW Tag Team titles, and it wasn’t too long before they captured the titles. The Spacemen would go on to win the Tag Team titles form some of the ACW’s greatest teams such as the Brood, Ministry, and the Acolytes. The Spacemen would have some trouble with one team in particular Double J (Josh McMullin and Jake Pain).

The Spacemen and Double J would go on to have the most legendary tag team feud in the history of the ACW. In fact Double J finished just behind the Spacemen in the voting for best tag team in the history of the ACW. Double J would take the Tag Team titles from the Spacemen on a couple of occasions. Then finally in a big time match the Spacemen at last beat Double J to take the Tag Team titles from Double J for the first time.

After many years as a team the Spacemen decided to branch out and go for singles titles. It didn’t take to long before both men captured ACW singles gold. Armstrong won the TV title and Houston captured the now defunked Intercellular title. Then Houston lost his title and began to suffer a series of losses while Armstrong kept winning. Armstrong then won the ACW World title to the dismay of Houston.

Houston didn’t like the fact that Armstrong was having so much success and he wasn’t, so Houston took out his frustrations out on Armstrong. After Armstrong lost the World title to Josh McMullin Houston decided to strike, and Houston laid out Armstrong to the shock of the audience.

After the attack on Armstrong Houston captured the ACW TV title and defended it against his former partner at Collision Course 4 in a ladder match. It wasn’t long before Houston got his revenge on Armstrong. The next month Houston beat Armstrong in a Black Hole match at Aftershock.

Once he got that big win over his former partner Houston was on top of the world. Then Houston lost his TV title, and began a losing slide he couldn’t stop. Then he was approached by a couple of his old rivals Josh McMullin and Jake Pain. They offered Houston an opportunity to join their new stable Sovereign Darkness. Houston accepted their offer to join the stable along with Tyson J. Mysery.

Then Houston’s fortune changed Houston began to win like he did early in his career. Because of the new found winning streak Houston became the number one contender for the World title, and with the help of Sovereign Darkness Houston beat the World champ Iceberg at Malice 2003.

Now with the support of Sovereign Darkness Houston went on a 10 month title reign second longest in ACW history (the longest reign was Armstrong at 11 months). Houston defeated some of the greatest superstars in the history of the company during his reign such as Iceberg, Nick Richards, Dayhawk, even his former partner Armstrong. Houston got the big win over Armstrong at the Owen Hart Memorial PPV to earn his first chance to main event Collision Course which every wrestler in the world wants to do.

Then at Collision Course 6 Houston faced James Lyght. James Lyght is the arch enemy of Josh McMullin and Jake Pain. Sovereign Darkness screwed Lyght out on many chances to face Houston for the title many times over his reign but finally got the chance by beating McMullin.

The many weeks leading up to Collision Course Houston would sneak attack Lyght, and give him 3 bomb shells on each occasion telling him three strikes and your out. Lyght came into the match at Collision Course less than a 100 percent but still managed to defeat Houston in one of the greatest main events in Collision Course history.

Even though Houston suffered a little bit of a set back at Collision Course this didn’t slow Houston down. At Blood Red 2005 Houston and Tyson J. Mysery won the Tag Titles in a triple threat match against Soldier and Panzer, and Team Speed (Quickstrike and Flash).

Houston has proved that with the help of Sovereign Darkness there is nothing that he can’t do in the ACW, so don’t be Undignified!
