Hoochie made his ACW debut in 1999. Immediately Hoochie proved to be one of the most flamboyant wrestlers in the ACW. Hoochie also displayed his very peculiar nature. When people would ask where he was from he would just tell them “Ooohhh its hot out there”. Throwing many people off. Along with his charisma and unique behavior Hoochie showed that he had incredible Cruiserweight moves.
Right away Hoochie started a rivalry with Hung Lo and Raptoid over the Cruiserweight title. This rivalry continues today. Everyone argues about which one of these superstars are the greatest Cruiserweight in ACW history.
The three wrestlers would have many legendary battles over the Cruiserweight title with Hoochie winning it Raptoid winning it and Hung Lo winning it. The three would battle for years over the title. Then Hoochie joined to young up and coming wrestlers Corky Dixon and Carazma.
Hoochie, Dixon and Carazma decided to call themselves Chic do to the fact that they all had a certain fashion sense, and they were all self proclaimed metrosexuals. Now with Hoochie teamed with Chic he gained extra confidence and had some back up against Hung Lo’s dirty tricks. Then Hoochie Captured the Cruiserweight title just before Collision Course 5, and successfully defended it in a triple threat match against Steve “the Cat” Williams and Raptoid.
This was the beginning of Hoochie’s record eleven month title reign. Hoochie would beat the ACW’s greatest established Cruiserweights such as Hung Lo, Raptoid, and the Cat. Hoochie would also beat the up and coming ACW Cruiserweights like Flash, Quickstirke, and Loco.
Sadly Hoochie’s title reign ended at Owen Hart Memorial PPV 2004 when he lost to Steve “the Cat” Williams who had to put his feet on the ropes to beat Hoochie. Although his eleven month title reign was over he still won 3 awards for the feat. He won the 2003 most improved wrestler, 2004 Cruiserweight of the Year, and 2004 Best Champion.
After Hoochie lost the title he started on a little down slide, and so did Chic. Hoochie finally had enough of the losing and told Dixon and Carazma that he wanted out of Chic and they were stupid doodie heads to the puzzlement of the crowd. Hoochie has been trying really hard to get the crowd to hate him, but he is trying to hard and every thing he does the crowd likes.
Even though Hoochie is acting a little peculiar he is still considered to be one of the greatest Cruiserweights in ACW history. Just because Hoochie is a Cruiserweight doesn’t mean that he can’t win any title in the ACW he can. Hoochie is that dangerous.
