Fred Hilton made his ACW debut from the ACWE training camp in 2002. Hilton impressed all with his size and power. There is only one draw back people had about Fred Hilton it was his intense anger. People wondered if Hilton could control his anger to become a viable superstar.
Then one day Fred was sitting around back stage when another ACW superstar approached him, it was Dinkle McAcker. Dinkle came up to Hilton and tried talking to him and Hilton gave him his normal reaction a mean scowl and silence. Dinkle then let his great sense of humor go and Hilton actually cracked a smile. A first for Hilton in the ACW.
After Fred began to warm up to Dinkle they formed a tag team, and what a formidable team they made. With Dinkle’s unique European style and the unbridled fury and power of Fred Hilton they began to turn heads really fast.
The duo began to feud with all teams in the ACW and were doing very well. They would begin there fight to gain the tag titles and be shut down many times coming so close to gaining the titles and fall short.
Then the rosters were split into two shows Mayham and Chaos, because Vince McMullin was having tax problems with the IRS. Then the government came in and took over while Vince came up with the money and split the shows putting Jumping Jack Johnson in charge of Mayham and Shawn London in charge of Chaos. Dinkle and Hilton were lucky to stay a team when they were both selected by Johnson in the roster draft.
With the rosters in two there was more opportunities for the younger stars. Now having a better opportunity to gain gold Dinkle and Hilton took it. At Ambush 2003 Dinkle and Hilton captured the Mayham Tag Team titles when they defeated Ares and Caesar.
Although there title reign didn’t last long when they lost at the next PPV Blood Red to Eminence they remained a feared team in the ACW, and remained so until 2004 when at Rampage 2004 Dinkle beat Hung Lo in a roster challenge match to become the ACW World Champion.
Then on Mayham Fred Hilton showed his jealousy turning on Dinkle by giving him three Rage Effects and bashing his back with a chair costing him the title he only held for one night to Jumping Jack Johnson. Dinkle’s back was totally destroyed by Hilton’s attack and he has been out with injury since.
Now on his own Hilton has showed that he is truly a force to be reakon with in the ACW. Hilton won a big Stand Off match at Stand Off 2004 by being the only survivor from his team out lasting Armstong, James Lyght, Raptoid, and Hank Clampet. This is where Hilton’s feud with Hank Clampet began.
The feud between Hank Clampet and Hilton was a very intense and bloody one with Hilton coming out on top each time. Clampet would give it his all every time but fall just a little short. It was while feuding with Clampet that they would clam the TV champion Fritz Brawnwick into the feud. It was in this triple threat match that Fred Hilton would win the TV title for his first time.
Hilton continues to be one of the most dominant wrestlers on the ACW roster, and it may only be a matter of time before we see Fred Hilton with the ACW World title around his waist.
