Flash made his ACW debut in 2001. He graduated along with Quickstrike and Loco and the they were dubbed the next big three which is a reference to Hung Lo, Raptoid and Hoochie who are considered the top three Cruiserweights in ACW history. So Flash’s first days in the ACW were already filled with pressures to succeed.
Flash suffered many hardships in the beginning of his ACW career. He was immediately put to the test by facing the best the ACW had to offer. He would face wrestlers such as Hung Lo, Josh McMullin, Safety Guy, and Hoochie. Although Flash had good showings against these opponents he would come up on the short end. This just made Flash work harder.
Then in 2003 Flash finally got the big win he was working so hard for when he captured the Cruiserweight championship. This helped boost Flash’s career. Even thought Flash’s title reign didn’t last too long it put Flash on the winning track, but the biggest challenges of Flash’s career were just around the corner.
This is when Flash was put into a series of matches against his fellow ACWE graduating class members Loco and Quickstrike. The three men were in some of the best triple threat matches the ACW has ever seen. Each one of the three would score big wins with no one man gaining more victories than the other. There is one thing for sure, Flash had arrived.
After the series of matches with Loco and Quickstrike Flash would go after the Cruiserweight title. There is just one problem the current Cruiserweight champion was Hoochie who was on his now legendary eleven month title reign, so obviously Flash would fall just short.
With this small set back didn’t phase Flash and continued to work hard to once again become a champion. Flash’s pursuit for gold lead him back to an old friend, Quickstrike. Flash and Quickstrike decided to form a tag team to hopefully capture the Tag Team titles or the Cruiserweight title if given a chance.
The biggest chance to win back the Cruiserweight title for Flash came at Collision Course 6 when he was in the Cruiserweight title gauntlet match. In a twist in irony Flash was eliminated in the gauntlet match by his tag partner Quickstrike who was eliminated by the winner Octavian Irving. Flash didn’t take the loss personal and it seemed to grow the friendship more.
Ever since Collision Course Flash and Quickstrike have been doing great in the tag team division. They came extremely close to winning the Tag Team titles at Blood Red 2005 in a triple threat match against the champions Soldier and Panzer, and Houston and Tyson J. Mysery who ended up winning the titles.
Flash has continued to improve over the course of his career so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him win the Cruiserweight, Tag Team, or any other title he sets his mind too. The sky is the limit for this energetic speed demon.
