Dr. Christopher Phillips

Position: ACW Owner

A wrestling fan since childhood and a long-time ACW fan, Dr. Christopher Phillips made a good living by using his superb knowledge of economics to invest wisely in the stock market. And when Dr. Phillips found out that the ACW (then known as the National Wrestling Federation) was up for sale, after Vince McMullin became ill with leukemia, he saw it as the best investment in wrestling and made his bid immediately. Vince McMullin seen his ability to lead, and his love and knowledge for the ACW style, and knew he would be the best choice.

Soon after Dr. Christopher Phillips bought the ACW, he changed the name of the company to Absolute Championship Wrestling with Vince McMullin’s blessing and NWF Europe became ACW Europe. His inspiration for the name change came from considering the company’s roster with other wrestling promotions and came to the conclusion that “absolutely” all of them would be immediate champions and the ACW’s style was “absolutely all wrestling” that he grew up with.
