The Natural Dayton Lennox made his ACW debut in 2001. He got off to a great start and showed everyone why he is called the Natural. During his first year in the ACW Dayton competed mostly in singles competition, but would occasionally team with his friend The Show Stealer Tidy Sims.

Then the two men decided to compete mainly in tag team competition, and they would call themselves Showtime. In there first major match as a team they teamed with Inspector Covington Rhodes to face Autolycus, Hercules, and Hypnosis at Collision Course 4, because Autolycus the King of Thieves was caught by Inspector Covington Rhodes stealing Showtimes wrestling gear. In an upset Showtime and Rhodes upset the veterans Autolycus and Hercules and the young raw Hypnosis to score the biggest win in their career to that point.

With the major win at Collision Course Lennox and Sims continued their roll by facing just about every tag team and stable there is in the ACW. They had a good feuds with Eminence (Joxer and Glassier), Chic (Corky Dixon and Carazma), and Dinkle McAcker and Fred Hilton.

They would earn themselves Tag Team title shots on a couple occasions and would unfortunately fall short. Then at Assailant Series 2004 Showtime faced the reigning Tag Team champions Hung Lo and Hija, and finally got the win they were looking for.

Showtime was the Tag Team champions after 2 years of teaming together. If they thought getting the titles was tough they finally found out the pressures of being a champion when the Dictatorship immediately came after the newly crowned champions.

Showtime proved to be worthy champions by defeating the Dictatorship at Owen Hart Memorial PPV. The duo continued there roll by dispatching anyone who dared to challenge them.

Then Showtime was scheduled to face Heresy at Collision Course 6. The only other team that was on a roll like Showtime has to be Heresy, who won that years Best Tag Team award for 2004. Heresy started the feud by attacking Showtime with lights out sneak attacks and would weaken Showtime before Collision Course.

Unfortunately for Showtime Heresy’s tactics would work when Heresy scored the big win and won the Tag Team titles from Showtime.

Even with this set back Showtime has continued to be one of the ACW’s best tag teams and faces any team that steps forward to hopefully one day become the Tag Team champions again.
