Davis Zahn made his NWF debut in 1998 under the ring name Doc. He made a good impact in the NWF by winning some matches and displaying his nasty suplexes.

Doc seemed to start fast then lose some steam, and lack some focus. Then Gangrel (an NWF hall or famer) took notice of Doc and his stunning suplexes, and asked him to join his stable the Brood. So Gangrel and his brother Lastot initiated Doc and another wrestler Will the Wildman into the Brood with a gothic sarimony, and dubbed them with new names. Doc became Docal and Will the Wildman became Vlad.

Vlad and Docal were then thrusted into one of the most intense feuds in NWF history the Brood vs. the Ministry of Darkness. Docal helped the Brood gain many victories against the Ministry picking up the Tag Team titles three times (with his partner Vlad) and the TV title once along the way.

Unfortunately the Brood would end up losing the feud to the Ministry of Darkness when the Undertaker won a loser leaves the NWF forever match against Gangerl. With Gangrel gone the Brood broke up and went on there own, although Docal and Vlad continued to be a tag team.

Vlad and Docal would kind of fly under the radar for quite a while until they were offered a chance to be in an independent movie. The two men jumped at the chance and flew to Europe right away and filmed their small part in the movie.

After the movie was shot Vlad and Docal came back to the NWF and their normal wrestling schedule. Then a few months passed and the two men got a call that they were up for an award in some small film festival in Europe for the small roll they played in the movie. So they went to the award ceremony and in a shock the two men won the award.

When Docal and Vlad came back with the award they decided a change needed to take place and the two men changed their names to their real ones Docal became Davis Zahn and Vlad became William Dalton, and they changed their tag team name to the Hollywood Connection.

Now as the Hollywood Connection they picked up their wrestling game and have also hired themselves a body guard Walkie Talkie Man. Zahn and Dalton don’t hesitate to tell everyone that they are award winning actors and better than everyone else. This came to bit Davis Zahn in the butt when he was talking a lot of trash to the Red Blazer at Collision Course 6 during the NWF $25,000 dollar gauntlet match. To only find out after he beat him and the Red Blazer had to unmask (due to a stipulation that Jumping Jack Johnson) to only find out that Vince McMullin the owner of the NWF was wrestling as the Red Blazer, and then Vince took no time to suspend Zahn 3 weeks and fine him $30,000 dollars in Vince’s only power move ever.

This new persona that the Hollywood Connection has created has translated into success for the two. It would be no shock to see the HWC with Tag Team gold some time soon.
