The Real Deal David Graves graduate of the ACW Europe training camp debuted in the ACW in the summer of 2001, and shocked the wrestling world by winning the ACW Hardcore title from Safety Guy. Although Graves’ title reign didn’t last long the win made an impact on all, so much so as to win the Best New Wrestler Award for 2001.

Graves would go on to win the Hardcore a few more times really making a good niche in the division. Graves quickly became a fan favorite by giving the fans exactly what they wanted blood, guts, and hardcore moves.

Then the world was stunned when The Real Deal joined J-Factor. A stable lead by Josh McMullin and Jake Pain. Also in the stable were Alexander Morton and Hank Clampet. J-Factor gained immediate success, scoring big win after big win. With the new direction of his career Graves began to train with Jake Pain and develop more of a technical wresting style, caring less about what the fans think.

In 2003 the roster was split into two separate shows Mayham and Chaos. In the split J-Factor was separated with Pain and Morton going to Chaos and McMullin, Graves, and Clampet on Mayham.

While split the new J-Factor wasn’t doing to well with out Pain and Morton, so after months of losing and frustrations Clampet and Graves decided to kick McMullin out of J-Factor. With the elimination of McMullin J-Factor began to regain its winning form.

When the rosters were merged back together McMullin and Pain once again formed an alliance, and came calling for the services of Graves, Clampet, and Morton. The three refused too the delight of the ACW fans, and began a memorable rivalry. In the matches with the two former world champions Graves showed he belonged.

Graves has since won the ACW Tag Team titles with his partner Alexander Morton, and became a North American champion after defeating his old time foe Safety Guy. So don’t be surprised to see Graves wearing the ACW World title some day.
