Armstrong debuted in the NWF in 1997 and quickly became one of the most successful wrestlers in the company. From the first day Armstrong showed up he has been the wrestler with the best winning percentage. That is both from his time as a tag team and a singles competitor.

Armstrong started his career as a tag team wrestler teaming up with his partner Houston to form the Spacemen. The Spacemen have been voted the best tag team in NWF history finishing just a head of there long time rivals in the tag division Josh McMullin and Jake Pain (Double J).

During his run in the Spacemen they went on to win 6 NWF Tag Titles. Then Armstrong and Houston decided it was time to try out there luck in singles competition.

Armstrong continued his winning way’s by winning the NWF Hardcore and TV Championships. Then Armstrong was seeking a shot at the NWF World Title, but the current champion his former tag team nemesis Josh McMullin refused to give him a shot.

McMullin and Pain did everything they could to prevent Armstrong from getting a title shot, but eventually Armstrong earned a shot a the world title and when Armstrong got the match against McMullin Armstrong took out his frustrations on McMullin, by rupturing one of his discs and breaking three of his ribs. Armstrong had finally arrived. He won the World Title and put his biggest rival on the injury list for fourteen months.

After he won the world title his first title defense was against Josh’s partner the very dangerous Jake Pain, but Armstrong again decided to rid the NWF of another one of the more hated wrestlers in the company. In the match Armstrong injured Pain’s back just like he did to McMullin, putting Pain on the shelf for twelve months.

Armstrong held on to the title for eleven months before wrestling to a draw with Rhyno, and having the title vacated starting a tournament for the title to end at Collision Course 3.

Armstrong made it to the finals after defeating Autolycus and Iceberg. In the finals Armstrong met his old foe the returning Josh McMullin. In the biggest match in Armstrong’s career his first main event at the biggest show of the year Collision Course 3, Armstrong fell short and was defeated by McMullin.

Since his devastating defeat Armstrong had won the world title again, and had a memorable feud with his former partner Houston. Armstrong probably had his best match against the World Champion Houston at Owen Hart Memorial PPV 2004, but Armstrong was screwed out of the victory by Houston’s Sovereign Darkness stable member Josh McMullin. Armstrong got revenge a month later at Collision Course 6 by defeating Josh McMullin and Jake Pain in a triple threat match.

Armstrong continues to be one of the NWF’s most winning and popular wrestlers, also a threat to win any title at any time.
